On May 11, 1971, Dallas restaurateur Mariano Martinez invented the frozen margarita machine – forever freezing in time the city’s claim to America’s favorite cocktail. When is the Margarita Mile open?

The Margarita Mile is a seasonal self-guided tour. The 2025 season opens in May, just in time for Cinco De Mayo.

Where is the Margarita Mile?

The Margarita Mile is a collection of margaritas all over Dallas. While most are close to the city center, we're happy to provide stops in some of Dallas' most popular neighborhoods beyond Downtown Dallas. The participating locations for the 2025 Margarita Mile will be revealed soon!

Is the Margarita Mile a mile long?

No, the Margarita Mile has restaurants all over Dallas. Even a mile is bigger in Texas. (Give us a break, we like the name. Just go with it!)

What can I win?

In 2024 we had over 38 participating restaurants on the Margarita Mile this season. Each location check in is worth 100 points. As you earn points along the way, you can use your points to redeem Margarita Mile swag to commemorate your Dallas experience!

How do I sign up to participate?

In May 2025 the Margarita Mile season will begin and you will be able to visit MargaritaMileDallas.com and select “Get Your Pass” to get your Margarita Mile pass. Users will be sent their pass via text and email. Until then, we recommend signing up for our email updates so you don't miss out!

How do I access my pass?

After signing up, users will receive their free, curated pass directly to their smartphone via text and email and can start exploring immediately.

How will I get my swag?

Each swag item is worth a certain number of points. As users rack up points throughout their Margarita Mile journey, they can choose to redeem those points any time they want. After selecting to redeem for swag, participants provide shipping information to receive the shipment.

How long does it take to get my swag?

Please be patient and it can take 4-6 weeks to receive your shipment.
