Dallas Film & Creative Industries Office (DFCIO) Launches New Podcast for Filmmakers
Film enthusiasts can listen to the first ten episodes of Dallas Film Podcast September 5th, on all major streaming platforms
DALLAS (August 25, 2023) – The Dallas Film & Creative Industries Office (DFCIO) is pleased to announce the launch of its new podcast, Dallas Film Podcast, available now on all streaming platforms. Dallas Film Podcast features educa8onal and inspirational content geared towards cinephiles and film industry professionals.
“This podcast is something we’ve been working on at DFCIO for the last six months, and we’re thrilled to finally see it come to life,” says DFCIO commissioner Tony Armer. “Dallas Film Podcast elevates our local film industry and gives us a whole new platform to reach both aspiring filmmakers and experts within the industry alike.”
The podcast features esteemed guests, including cinematographers Sir Roger and James Deakins, actors Eva Longoria and Sasha Calle, and other industry heavy hitters, alongside Armer and DFCIO project specialist Andrew Vela, discussing the ins and outs of film in Dallas and beyond. The first ten episodes cover everything from tips on how to get financing and how to make your screenplay stand out, to fascinating conversations with renowned actors and producers.
