'Twas the time before Christmas, when all through the city, there are decorations galore and sites lit up so pretty. Big D Holiday is one of our favorite times of the year with festive concerts, holiday bars, hotels decked out in garland and bows and unique expressions of Christmas cheer in every Dallas neighborhood. Check out some of the most spectacularly decorated attractions and holiday pop-ups in Dallas.
1. Santaland & SnowDay
If you've ever dreamed of visiting the North Pole, or at least making it look like you did, then you're in luck! Take a ride on the Santaland express, then wander far enough through snowy Christmas trees to find yourself in Santa's house. Make sure to go through your wish list and snap a photo with him while you're there! And if photos with Santa aren't your thing, a few spins around in a small maze of hanging lights will brighten up any feed.
2. Holiday at the Arboretum
Walk through 12 Days of Christmas and a charming German-inspired Christmas village at the Dallas Arboretum for endless Instagrammable moments. Take a time-lapse of the Christmas Tower or pose with your favorite tiny village shop.
3. Miracle on Commerce at The Adolphus

4. Dallas Zoo Lights
There will be plenty of moments of awe to capture cute moments of wonder on your child's face as you walk through one million lights at the Dallas Zoo! Finish off the visit with a photo-op under lighted ornaments just outside the zoo's gates before heading home.
