How to make the Margarita Mile work for your group
Turn your group outing into a margarita adventure.
No matter what event or group outing brings you to Dallas, there's no reason you can't enjoy the Margarita Mile – Dallas' collection of the best and brightest margaritas in the city. And we're making it easy with some tips and tricks on how to get around and explore the stops as you sip and savor your way through Dallas.
Track Your Progress
Get in on all the action by visiting MargaritaMileDallas.com. Just click 'Get Started' to sign up. You'll get a text and email giving you access to the site where you can quickly check in whenever you visit a new stop on the tour. The most stops you check into, the more rewards you earn. Check-in at three restaurants to earn a Margarita Mile sticker. Ten gets you a limited-edition t-shirt. Check-in at 20 stops and you'll be entered to win more Dallas swag.
Take Advantage of the McKinney Avenue Trolley
The historic McKinney Avenue Trolley runs through the heart of Margarita Mile territory. The trolley, or M-Line, starts in the core of Uptown and travels through Klyde Warren Park and into Downtown, making a complete loop. Grab your phone, catch a ride on the free trolley and enjoy a safe, car-free day along the Margarita Mile with stops at The Rustic, Fearing's, Happiest Hour and Te Deseo. You can also book trolleys specifically for your group to cruise the streets of Uptown.
Stay Close to the Convention Center
While the Margarita Mile offers a robust list of stops to check out, we've also made it easy for those traveling by foot and spending most of their time at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center Dallas. Just outside the center, you'll find Café Herrera and the Maximo Margarita.
Keep it Private
Several Margarita Mile stops offer private dining options, so it's easy to keep business rolling while enjoying Dallas' most delicious cocktail. If you're looking for a high-energy outing for your group, Mariano's Hacienda, Meso Maya, and El Fenix are all great options and are well versed in handling private parties of any size.
