Latin-inspired dance spots
Dallas is known for many things, but what gives the Big D its sabor picante are all the Latinos that call it home. And if there's one thing Hispanics know how to do, it's how to throw it down on the dance floor.
Gloria's Latin Cuisine
While Gloria’s is known for its delicious Salvadorian cuisine, it’s also the spot for a mix of salsa, merengue, bachata and reggaetón - un poquito de todo! The band Havana NRG has played locally for 15 years making them a main attraction. It’s an over the top pachanga where the drinks never stop flowing, the congas are always banging and the party never stops.
Cafe Salsera
Just when you thought you could only find rock or hip-hop spots in Deep Ellum, Café Salsera comes along. Located right in the heart of the entertainment district of Deep Ellum, the most exciting Latin vibes are brought to you by FSTLF every Thursday-Sunday night. The DJs begin the night at 10 p.m., and the kitchen also remains open so you break away from the dance floor for a bite to eat.
Beto & Son
Beto & Son is a chef-inspired new generation of Mexican restaurant in Trinity Groves. Aside from the tasty menu, this chic spot brings you salsa nights under the stars every Wednesday. After dark, this restaurant transforms into una tremenda fiesta! And with daily drink specials, we’re pretty sure Beto & Son will remain at the top of the list for social nights and social salsa.
Medusa
Medusa has some of the finest entertainment and live music in heart of Dallas. Here’s the breakdown: an ample dance floor, five bars, and a mass number of booths situated all throughout the club to provide everyone view of the stage. And speaking of the stage, Medusa is all about the live Latin music featuring some of the greatest including salsa all-star Oscar De Leon and reggaetón artist Don Omar. Dale!
Los Comales
We’ve got what you need for Sunday Funday! Start off with brunch and end with a whole lot of bailando! The lounge in North Dallas plays Latin music all night long and encourages everyone to move to the beat. The layout of the establishment is like a sultry jazz club with dim lights and chill atmosphere.
Pink Lounge
If you're looking to groove and want to get a little out there, then we have the perfect spot for you. The Pink Lounge’s Fuego Fridays are where it’s at for this Oak Cliff jewel. Music ranges from Spanish Trap and Cumbias to Hip Hop and Latin Trap. There’s no judgment here! Just get your drink and dance on.
Side Bar
It’s time to take your dancing shoes to Uptown. Sidebar is a stylish and sophisticated venue, with an entertaining staff. Come for Latin nights on Fridays in a vibrant, upbeat atmosphere. The DJ spins to curate music that ranges from vintage salsa to modern Latin so you can’t go wrong here.
Sisu
If you can’t wait until Friday, Sisu has got you covered. Whether it’s rumba, reggaeton or salsa, Sisu’s Latin Thursdays has something to offer everyone. With its scenic views of the pool, the Latin beats banging in the background, what more could you ask for?
Blue Mesa Grill
Need some heat in your life? Head over to Blue Mesa Grill for a free Bachata class and drink specials every Saturday night. By the time you take that last shot, you'll wonder where this place has been all your life. Blue Mesa Grill is a must go-to spot to end your week.
