Describe Sweet Tooth Hotel
Sweet Tooth Hotel is...not a hotel! We are an interactive art venue with a craft cocktail lounge, we showcase the work of emerging artists which allows the visitors to touch and immerse themselves in the art. Our guests are art lovers, explorers and everyone who's ready to have fun! Each of our gallery spaces is housed inside of a "hotel room" and guests can use the keys to open the doors and discover the artwork.
Why should someone visit Sweet Tooth Hotel on their next trip to Dallas?
You should know that we change the art installations once a year and you never know what you're going to find behind each gallery door. Whether you're interested in seeing the art or would like to hang out in the craft cocktail lounge (free without a ticket) there's always something to do here. We also host a monthly silent disco, after hours, and have a range of events from concerts to workshops!
What do you love about being in Dallas?
We love being in Dallas because of the way that the community embraces everything creative and craves new experiences. We are in the heart of Downtown Dallas on Elm street, just look for the giant pink building! We are so lucky to have a parking garage on top of our location where we can provide free parking for visitors.
How are you giving back to Dallas
For the holidays we are collecting gifts for Toys for Tots. We also partner with the Craft Yarn Council whose members provide yarn for our fiber artists.
We have a sister studio called wvvy (pronounced wavy), they're a design, fabrication and content studio based in Dallas and are responsible for creating many of the interactive installations with the artists.
What are you most proud of
We have presented more than eight immersive art installations from dozens of local and national artists. We also made Conde Naste's list of Best Things To Do in Dallas this year!
