It can be a bit of body language, a wink, a smile, a tip of the hat. It’s organic, human, contagious energy—a natural state of exuberance that can range from quiet confidence to absolutely owning a moment. A celebration of pure human energy and who we are. Beyond the word, the emotional expression of swagger can be portrayed visually in color, type, photography and music choices.
While the brand has been introduced locally our work is truly just beginning. Our creative featuring our Can-Doers and our billboards showcasing Dallas' core values, each with a trans-created version in Spanish, was promoted throughout our neighborhoods all across the city. At our 2024 Annual Meeting we also revealed the inaugural class of our Can-Do Spirit Award winners, celebrating local visionaries nominated and voted on by our Dallas community.
Establishing a destination brand is a long-term play, and building brand equity and awareness may take years. Our ultimate success is contingent on the community adopting and embracing the new brand - and we’re excited for all of Dallas to join us on this journey. After all, that’s what Dallas does best, invent the future, challenge perceptions, dare the world to hop on, buckle up and hang on tight while we create what’s next.
