Chef Uno Catering & Events was founded during the Covid-19 pandemic, when Uno partnered with several nonprofits to serve more than 100,000 meals to frontline healthcare workers, essential employees who had lost their jobs, battered women, and military personnel. Chef Uno Catering earned special recognition from Parkland Hospital for nourishing its team. Chef Uno's foray into catering has allowed her to explore and expand her culinary creativity with every meal she serves. She elevates and reinvents traditional recipes, dreaming up dishes that taste both familiar and complex, nostalgic and surprising.
