Harry S. Moss Park
Set in a heavily treed (and very green) spot at the corner of Royal Lane and Greenville Avenue, the playscape at Harry S. Moss Park offers a perfect place to get a bit closer to nature right in the middle of the city. The sturdy plastic structure includes twisting and bumpy slides, monkey bars (which, although fun, are hard for smaller kids to reach from the play structure's platform) and small ladders for climbing. There's even a neat firefighter's pole for older kids to slide down. The park space around the playscape is also worth checking out. Trees growing almost parallel to the ground make for great climbing, and a cool creek keeps little naturalists entertained.
