Festival of Joy
Yearly cultural event at Klyde Warren Park, usually takes place end of April
Free outdoor Indian cultural event, held at Kylde Warren Park, family and pet friendly, vendor booths, live music and dance performances, free vegetarian food served on site, chariot parade through downtown Dallas at the beginning of the festival. Normal attendance in past has been a few thousand, especially with television and newspaper coverage.
