SMU - Gerald J. Ford Stadium
Opened in September of 2000, the $57 million stadium and all-sports center is the crowning jewel of the Southern Methodist Campus. The Gerald J. Ford Stadium and the Paul B. Loyd All-Sports Center mark the most significant facility additions to SMU's campus in years. There are 32,000 seats with 240 preferred club level seats and 240 more seats in 23 luxury suites. There is also a three-level press box accommodating 125 working print, radio and television media. The stadium is designed to hold a regulation-size soccer field.
