Texas Motorplex in Ennis is one of the finest drag racing venues in the United States. Having won numerous National Hot Rod Association (NHRA) Track of the Year awards and the American Drag Racing League (ADRL) Track of the Year Award for 2008, this quarter-mile drag strip is consistently breaking national speed records. The drag strip is the only all-concrete post-tensioned race track in the United States. The facility contains 28 luxury suites, a 30,000-square-foot climate-controlled Champions Club, a restaurant, and ten concession stands. Since 1986, Texas Motorplex has been the annual host of the NHRA's Fall Nationals. The facility can also do more than just host drag races. Concerts, bike racing, monster truck events, and even some rodeo events have all been hosted by Texas Motorplex in the past.
