From the bold and colorful collections at the Dallas Museum of Art, to the Nasher Sculpture Center where you can admire a world-class collection of sculptures and other antiquities that can't be seen anywhere else in the world.

There's plenty of room to carve out your own picnic for two in the heart of Klyde Warren Park. Curb the lunch time cravings with a little help from one of the daily food trucks that offer a selection of scrumptious meals and delectable treats.

Dallas is for lovers – margarita lovers that is! As the birthplace of the frozen margarita, there's no better place to sip with your sweetie. Explore the many flavors along the Margarita Mile, an only-in-Dallas experience that features some of the most delicious margaritas around town. Enjoy a liquid nitrogen-infused margarita at Beto & Son in Trinity Groves, dive into the fun at The Rustic or go to where it all began with a stop at the world-famous, Mariano's.

Your love won't be the only thing blossoming in Dallas. The Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden is the place to be if you want to stop and smell the roses. Roses, tulips, marigolds and daffodils – you'll find new blooms and picturesque gardens where you can rest, relax and watch the clouds dance over your head.

Feeling adventurous? White Rock Lake is a go-to locale for those that want to get their heart pumping. Take a casual walk or take it up a notch with a jog along the lake's 9-mile loop. If you prefer being on the water, you can rent a single or tandem kayak during the warmer months of the year.

4Seek Out an Urban Oasis

By day or by night, there's a vibe in Deep Ellum that you have to experience for yourself. The tight, grid like streets make it easy to navigate by foot as you admire the murals that cover the majority of the brick buildings. Grub out at Pecan Lodge for world-famous BBQ or go all in with street tacos at Revolver Taco. Don't worry – you can walk it all off as you pop in and out of the shops along Elm, Commerce and Main streets. You'll find just about anything you can imagine including succulent plants, vintage t-shirts, records, custom hats and more.
