It seems like Christmas may have come early this year at the Dallas Arboretum. With 500,000 lights, tons of daily activities and holiday treats, the garden will bring the whole family holiday cheer from November 13 through January 5.
Stroll through the 12 Days of Christmas exhibit
These lighted and elaborate gazebo displays capture every scene of the popular Christmas carol, guaranteed to get you excited for the holidays. Take a stroll through the garden with the family (day or night) with a cup of hot chocolate.
Take your picture with Santa Claus
Get your Christmas pictures taken with Santa at the garden in Crape Myrtle Allee, the perfect holiday setting resplendent with twinkling lights. Bring your little ones to meet the big jolly fellow a few nights a week. Be sure to also visit his little elves in the Elves Workshop for arts and crafts and holiday games. See the Nutcracker Suite at the DeGolyer House
The historic and lavishly decorated DeGolyer house turns into a holiday wonderland with more than 800 nutcrackers on display with each room depicting a scene from the Nutcracker ballet. Visit during the day and stop by Restaurant DeGolyer for some holiday tea during brunch hours.
Enjoy an Outdoor Movie Night
Have a holiday movie night at the Arboretum! The garden will host its first-ever outdoor movie experience with a showing of classic Christmas movies. Bring a blanket and good company and enjoy a cozy Christmas night
